Pink Storage Opens Community Change to Shropshire

Pink Storage Opens Community Change to Shropshire

Following the impactful launch of our first Community Change campaign in South Wales, we are delighted to extend this exciting initiative to Shropshire. As our Telford location continues to serve as a regional hub for self storage and container storage, we're thrilled to bring the opportunity to support local charities, community groups, and grassroots good causes across the county.

Building on the success of the first Community Change campaign, where local projects were awarded up to £1,000 in funding, we are now inviting Shropshire good causes to apply for the same support. Our belief remains that meaningful impact can start small, and local causes often need just a boost to help amplify their amazing work.

How the initiative works

Local not-for-profit groups, community organisations, and charities across Shropshire are encouraged to submit a self-nomination detailing their cause and explaining how the funds would help realise their goals. Whether that means renovating a shared space, acquiring equipment, or launching a new community service, this is an opportunity to get essential support and local recognition.

Nominations can be made up until the 19th of September 2025 where Pink Storage will shortlist three finalists. These finalists will be publicly announced on our social media channels, and each will receive a custom-designed logo to help encourage support from their networks, as the winner will be decided via public vote.

Get involved

Our previous campaign in South Wales sparked real engagement and awareness with the winning group and runners up supported financially and through local media exposure. By replicating this in Shropshire, we aim to empower more meaningful change in the communities we serve.

By aligning the Community Change campaign with our Telford site, we’re emphasising our commitment not only to providing outstanding storage facilities but also to supporting local communities in meaningful ways.

Encouragement from the MD

Scott Evans, the Managing Director of Pink Storage, said, “We’re thrilled to extend our Community Change campaign to Shropshire following its success in South Wales, Telford is a fitting location to continue our mission. We support communities not just by offering flexible container storage and self storage solutions, but also by giving back to grassroots organisations that are making a real difference.”

Next steps

If your good cause operates within Shropshire, particually those based in our home of Telford, now is the time to act. Submit your nomination via email to community@pinkstorage.co.uk, explaining your project and how up to £1,000 in funding could make a tangible impact. Finalists will be announced shortly after the deadline, and the public vote will determine who receives the top award.

We’re looking forward to supporting more local initiatives through the Community Change campaign and to seeing the creativity, passion, and dedication of Shropshire’s community shine.
